MGB-IX Issues New ISAG Permit in ZdS

RD Hernani G. Abdon approved the Industrial Sand and Gravel (ISAG) Permit of Mr. Edsel M. Abrasaldo which covers about 7.1179 has in Pulang Bato, Municipality of Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur last August 12.
During the signing of the Permit/Contract, Mr. Abrasaldo was represented by his staff, Sharon Rose A. Surem, while Mr. Joemark C. Bondad, Planning Officer of MGB-IX, served as witness and assisted by Ms. Leilani Q. Querubin, Mining Claims Examiner III of MGB-IX.
This is the 2nd permit issued for this semester, and the 10th as of to date, 8 of which were all issued during the 1st semester.

MGBEA-IX Holds Special General Assembly

The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Employee's Association (MGBEA) Chapter Executive Board-IX held a Special General Assmebly (SGA) on July 14, 2021. This activity was conducted purposely to discuss and ratify the 2021-2023 Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA). The Board also took this opportunity to present and discuss the Contitution and By-Laws of the Association to orient/re-orient new and old members alike. The SGA also became the platform to discuss/resolve emerging employee's issues and concerns involving Office' operations and other work-related issues arising within and among the members and non-MGBEA member employees.
